Apple Software Update AlertApple has launched its 10.5.7 Mac OS X update to customers today through the Mac OS X Software Update utility. The new update is said to provide general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac. The current Remote Director release (v3.6.1) has not yet been evaluated on this updated Operating System; as such, ICS does -not- recommend upgrading to OS X10.5.7 at this time. ICS is conducting a thorough compatibility assessment, and will be addressing incompatibilities that might be found immediately thereafter; we expect the assessment and any remedial action to be completed within 30 days. Remote Director users will be notified by ICS via email as soon as the OS X10.5.7 evaluation has been completed. In the meantime, if you have questions or concerns, please contact ICS Technical Support at 760-692-0495 (Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time). |
